From Vision to Delivery: UNCT Retreat Charts Joint Pathways to Resilience in Mauritius and Seychelles

As global leaders gathered in Seville for the Fourth International Conference on Financing for Development, the United Nations Country Team (UNCT) for Mauritius and Seychelles convened its annual Retreat from 1 to 3 July 2025 in Seychelles. Held under the theme “Repositioning UNCT for Accelerating Economic and Climate Resilience for All,” the three-day event marked a strategic moment to reflect, recalibrate and strengthen UN collaboration in support of national development goals. Anchored in the 2024–2028 United Nations Sustainable Development Cooperation Frameworks (UNSDCFs), the Retreat brought together 25 UN entities, government representatives, civil society, regional organisations, development partners, and the private sector.
